Well, today was the first day of spring and we had a great ride today.
Even with several people complaining about the start time (1:00PM) we still had a good turnout.
Some complained that their church didn't get out till close to 1:00PM.
As bad as I hate to say this, if we had tried to have it later, we would have probably lost more people that wanted to go because we would be leaving TOO late then...
So, other than myself, this group consisted of...
Darwin and Mary, Edith Whitaker, Jerry Hughes, James Lutz, John and Rhonda Gibson, Their daughter Aubri and grandkid and another guy that I didn't know and Tommy and Alice Carr, and Cindy and Keith Harris...
This was Edith's second time on the back of a bike and she is wanting to buy herself her own bike. So this ride gave her the experience of the curves, wind and speed and She did REALLY well today. Tense at first but by the end of the ride she was really getting use to all the attributes of riding.
We rode to Cheddars in Owensboro via Brown Road to Sacramento to Buttonsberry to Island to Owensboro.
Coming back Darwin took the lead and we went through Calhoun and Rumsey and Slaughters.
About 110 miles +-.
Already looking forward to the next ride!!!!
